Working at the intersections of history, libraries, archives, and museums, I specialize in the role of cultural heritage, memory, and digital informatics. Passionate about documenting and preserving the historic traditions of underrepresented communities, I curate compelling stories and experiences at home and abroad. I have authored and offered presentations on digital storytelling, lynching, and racial violence during the Jim Crow era, oral history, the development of personal and community archives, and resource mobilization during the Civil Rights Movement.

My manuscript in progress entitled, Archives, Lynching, and the Dereliction of Black Bodies is currently under review.
